ENCOURAGING HEARTS

Cornerstone Bible Church New Women’s Ministry

PURPOSE:
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,
not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some,
but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25

WHAT:
"Encouraging Hearts" ministry is for CsBC women…All women. Women from widows to young mothers to working women, to single women to married women…ALL will be encouraged to be involved. To begin the ministry, "getting to know one another” will be the focus. Much can grow out of this ministry... "that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, which is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
~Colossians 2:2-3

HOW:
Women sign up to be involved in “Encouraging Hearts” through the church website. QR codes and links will be provided. Paper sign-ups will be available at the Information Counter. Women can sign up at any time. The church will provide announcements, brochures, posters for the ministry’s Kick-Off, allowing women to ask questions and pray about being involved.

THE FIRST YEAR OF THE MINISTRY-”Getting to Know One Another”
Beginning in early July, names of participating women will be placed into a drawing box. Names will be drawn, one at a time, forming groups of three until all names are drawn. Each group of 3 women will be encouraged to get together one time over the next two months. Women can meet for lunch, at a park to watch the children play, at a home…the ideas are endless. It will be a special time of getting to know and encourage one another. It’s that simple. Every-other month, we will put all names back into the box and new groups of 3 will be drawn and encouraged to get together over the following two months. A “Kick-Off Fellowship” will be planned for the first drawing in order to meet each other, explain the process, pray about the ministry and answer questions. We will “pilot” the ministry for a year to see how it goes and the interest.
